Welcome to the Keystone Learning Network. This website has been set up to bring
those of you who work with children interesting reviews of research that will enrich
your understanding of children who have been traumatized in some way. The author of
this website firmly believes that the client is not so much the child, but the
traumatized brain inside. The more we understand how the brain works, its structure
and chemistry, the more we are able to design programs that can bring healing to the
traumatized brain in the shortest amount of time. This website not only addresses the
emotional and behavioral problems of the traumatized brain, but also the educational
challenges these children present. So whether the child is in the social work
environment in out-of-home placement, or in school with the teacher, information
contained here will help you understand why the child is behaving the way he or she
is and how to create an environment that will be of benefit to them. Check here for
