At the present time the following trainings are being offered:
The Safe Behavioral Management of the Traumatized Brain

This 3 hour training explains from inside the brain what is happening when a child goes through “Shame Rage”. Parents and staff learn the four stages of shame rage and what they need to be doing at each stage. This is not a time to administer restraints. It is a time to offer healing to the traumatized brain.

Reconstructive Parenting

This 12 hour program takes the participants through the process of brain development. Learn how brain chemistry and structure relate to the behaviors seen in traumatized children. Attachment theory is reviewed to show the four different attachment styles a child can develop and how it also helps us to understand why abused children act as they do. This information is then used to develop parenting techniques to meet the needs of each child in order to bring the maximum amount of healing to the traumatized brain.
